On January 21, 23, and 25, Park Jeong Woo, Yoon Jae Hyuk, and Choi Hyun Suk were announced respectively as the remaining three members of TREASURE. They were set to make their debut between May and July 2019 but were delayed.
Later in 2019 YG Entertainment announced the formation of a new group called MAGNUM from the other 6 participants of the show other than the first 7 members to be announced for the group TREASURE. The entertainment label announced the debut of both group TREASURE and MAGNUM as TREASURE 13 before they promote separately in two groups, but due to outrageous scandals surfacing the internet, YG postponed the debut of the group.
2020 January 6th, YG Entertainment released a new notice on their official website regarding the formation of 12 member boy group from both groups TREASURE and MAGNUM who would debut as one group TREASURE.
After the notice, the entertainment label started to post different contents of the group like TMI episodes, Treasure map etc. on their official sites. On 30th January 2020, the group released the performance video for their pre-debut track “Going Crazy”.
TREASURE Debut
Haruto officially made his debut on august 7, 2020. On 2021 January 11, TREASURE’s first full studio album “THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT” was released. TREASURE also released the Japanese digital single “Beautiful” on 14 February which was previously released on January 22 as the ending theme song for the anime black clover. On March 31st, 2021 the group also released the Japanese version of their first full album. The group released a mini album THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE on 15 February 2022.
